Dennis Phillip Staley's Obituary
Dennis Phillip Staley, age 84, passed away November 26, 2022. He was born October 12, 1938, in Mankato, MN to Robert C. Staley, Sr. and Adeline J. Staley.
Dennis married Jynane Gabler and together had 5 children. He was a member of the South Bend Fire Department and coached Junior League Bowling where he met his second wife, Virginia Tichenor. He liked camping, fishing, hunting, bowling and going to casinos. Most of his adult life he worked in management until in 1992 when he married Virginia Tichenor and moved to the Brainerd Lakes area. While in Brainerd he worked in maintenance and security at a local resort and later at Northern Lights Casino. In 2015, he and his wife relocated to Lincoln, AL.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Virginia (Tichenor) Staley; his first wife, Jynane (Gabler) Staley of LeSueur, MN; daughters, Denise (Andy) Stoffel of Madison Lake, MN, Theresa Rocha of Fernandia Beach, FL, Lisa (Steve) Malinski of LeSueur, MN, and June (Chuck Lehrke) Staley of Lake Havasu City, AZ; son, Wayne Staley of Madison Lake, MN; and step-son Shaun (Allison) Tichenor of Lafayette, LA; 37 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and 4 nieces and their families.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and 3 siblings.
