David Lamar Webb's Obituary
David Lamar Webb, 60, of Oxford passed away Sunday, October 19, 2025 at Regional Medical Center.
David was a lifelong resident of Oxford and a proud graduate of Oxford High School. On Saturdays in the fall, you could find him loudly cheering on the Auburn Tigers or at his hunting club, preparing for and enjoying the season.
David blessed his friends and family with many wonderful memories, shared jokes, and sound advice. He was an adoring father and devoted son, brother, and friend. He was humble, kind, and a natural caregiver - someone you could always count on.
David was proceeded in death by his son, Sean Jacob, and his mother, Helen Sue.
He is survived by his father, Joe Webb (Monika); brother, Marc Webb (Lydia); sister, Tammy Bryan (Nick); nephew, Tucker Webb (Rachel); nieces, Madison Mitchell (Tyler) and Natalie Bryan. He gained the official title of Great Uncle (though we always knew he was) at the birth of his great nephews, Alton, Orin, and Webb. David is also survived by his dear friends, Art and Tammy Aultman and Kevin Bridges.
David was laid to rest beside his son, surrounded by close family and friends on Saturday, October 25. He was a dedicated blood donor with the American Red Cross — always giving, in every sense of the word.
