David Edward Holland's Obituary
David Holland, age 57 went to be with the Lord on April 23, 2026 after a courageous battle of cancer.
David was born on July 1, 1968 in Hartford, CT. He was the son of the late Dwight Holland; Alice Sorrell and stepdad; Dan Sorrell. He was a graduate of Fultondale High School. He drove a truck for 33 years. Before his declining health forced him into retirement, he was employed by Dixie Trucking. You may know him by his CB handle; “Bulldog”. He loved his animals, especially his best friend, Bandit. He enjoyed spending time with his wife. She was his pride and joy.
David was a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church in Ashville, AL where he accepted the Lord into his heart and made his decision public with baptism.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Teresa Holland.

There will be a celebration of life service on Saturday, May 16, 2026 @ 1:00 PM at Gum Springs Baptist Church, 7568 County HWY 33, Ashville, AL 35953.
