David Wayne Dabbs' Obituary
David Wayne Dabbs, age 54 of Munford, passed away on December 15, 2021, at his residence. David was born January 13, 1967, in Talladega County and lived his life in Munford, Alabama. He has served his community as a council member, mayor, multi-business owner, coach, and team sponsor. November 13, 2021, was declared "David Dabbs Day" in Munford.
David was preceded in death by his father, Orbie Gene Dabbs, Sr. and mother, Joyce Aline Dabbs.
He is survived by his brother, Gene Dabbs and sister in law Regina Dabbs of Munford, Alabama; sister, Pamela Wallace of Panama City Beach, Florida; nieces and nephews, Darrel Yates, Danielle Hazel, Candace Webb, Ashley Butterworth, Levi Davis, Dion Davis; 10 great nieces and nephews; 1 great great nephew; and life-long friend, Preston Stephens.
The family would like to express a heartfelt appreciation to David and Canilla Thompson for being there and taking care of David during this time. Thank you.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at Big Daddy's BBQ in Munford, Alabama.
