Danny Roland Haynes' Obituary
Danny Roland Haynes, 77, of Lincoln, Alabama, passed away on March 6, 2026, at his residence surrounded by family and friends.
Mr. Haynes was a lifelong resident of Lincoln, graduating from Lincoln High School in 1967. He served two years in the United States Army, including a tour in Vietnam, before embarking on a distinguished career in carpentry. He was also known for his enthusiasm as an Alabama football fan.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dianna Rich Haynes; his parents, Troy Roland Haynes and Virginia Calhoun Haynes; and his brother, Thomas "Tommy" Andrew Haynes.
Mr. Haynes is survived by his children, Christa Haynes Lackey and Jeremy Roland Haynes (Angel); grandchildren Noah Blake Haynes of LeHigh Acres, FL, Elijah Lackey, Levi Lackey, Eliza Higginbotham, and Emily Haynes; sisters Cindy Haynes and Gina Rice; and nephew Chad Rice. The family would like to extend a special thank you to his close friends Neal "Possum" Phillips Jr., Eddie Belcher, Larry Goodwin, and Lester Haynes.
Details regarding a Celebration of Life in honor of Danny Roland Haynes at Good Time Charlie’s Bar and Grill in Lincoln (formerly Dee Fords) will be announced by the family at a later date.
