Danny Royce Dover Sr.'s Obituary
Danny Royce Dover, Sr., 74, of Anniston, Alabama, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2025, at RMC in Anniston, surrounded by his loving family.
Danny was born on May 16, 1951, to Roy and Nellie Dover. He graduated from Oxford High School in 1969 before moving answering the call to serve his country. Danny honorably served four years in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, carrying with him both courage and resilience that shaped the rest of his life.
On returning home, Danny dedicated himself to his family, building a life rooted in love, loyalty, and faith. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Rhonda Dover, and a loving father to his children, Danny Dover Jr., Allison Dover, and Angel Dover. His family was his greatest joy, and his role as a husband and father defined the man he was.
Danny is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Nellie Dover, brother Earnest (Sonny) Dover, Sisters Joyce Lloyd, Jackie Mahaffey, Marynell Sanchez, and Jonnie Gail Allen. He leaves behind his beloved wife, children, and many extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.
A service honoring Danny’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. His legacy of strength, devotion, and love will live on through his family and all who loved him. Family and friends please bring a dish with love for fellowship dinner in the fellowship hall at New Bethel after graveside service. Enjoy photos and sharing your favorite memories.
