Cynthia Margaret Poole's Obituary
Cynthia Margaret Poole, 77, of Anniston, Alabama, a devoted mother, grandmother, and dear friend, passed away on June 26, 2026. Born on May 5, 1949, to Margaret and Marvin Poole, she was raised in San Mateo, California, where she graduated from San Mateo High School.
Cynthia is survived by her loving children: Christopher Carriker, Cyril Howe and his wife Lorie, and Michael Coleman, all of Anniston. She delighted in her role as a grandmother to Cierra Dauphinee of Cold Lake, Kelsy and Emilea Meekins of Anniston, as well as her cherished great-grandchildren, Adriel “Skippy” Pena and Layklynn George.
Cynthia shared a deep bond with her siblings, Cathie Poole and Marvin Poole, and treasured a long-time friendship with Jacque Wade Kelly of Austin, Texas. With her open heart, she treated everyone—whether acquaintances for five minutes or lifelong friends—as family.
Her love for family was evident in her dedication to the family restaurant, Full Bellie Deli, where memories were created over delicious meals and warm gatherings.
Cynthia was preceded in eternal life by her parents and siblings, who welcomed her with open arms.
Her kindness, warmth, and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. A celebration of life ceremony will be announced at a later date.
Cynthia Margaret Poole will forever be remembered and cherished in our hearts.
