Connie Brooks

Funeral services for Connie Brooks will be at Covenant Life Ministries on September 9, 2021 at 6:00 pm. Connie passed away in her home in Piedmont, AL on August 27, 2021. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to Covenant Life Ministries or your own personal church in her honor. Connie was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend. Her family was her world. Her favorite part of life was being a mother and grandmother. She always had a prayer on her lips for anyone who needed it and there was always room at her house no matter what. Her love for Jesus was so big you couldn’t be around her without feeling His presence. She wanted everyone to know the love of Jesus. When she saw a need, she went out of her way to help no matter what that meant. She loved to travel the world. Her favorite place to travel to was Hawaii. Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Brooks, parents, Vernon and Carey Crowe, parents-in-love Calvin and Violet Brooks, brother Wayne Crowe, grandson, Taylor Parmer, nephews Brian Johnson and Hubert “Herbie” Johnson and great niece Adilyn Brady. She is survived by her sisters, Nancy Mrugalla (Muggi) and Young Ja Snow (Joe), sister-in-love Mary Ann Crowe, son Jay Parmer (Nikki), daughters, Misty Crosson (Aaron),Becky Boyett; granddaughters, Aaliyah Crosson, Kiarra Parmer, Emma Clay, Heather Regar, Erin Holmquist (Rick), Meghan Skiebe (Ryan), grandsons Damien Crosson and Trey Regar (Jordan) , honorary daughters, Paula Howard (Ryan) and Natascha Parmer-Breitschuh (Manu), honorary sisters Lisa Baker (Mike) and Sandra White, several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews, her very special friends Jack and Sharon Amberson and Monica Monfette (Maggi) and by her furbaby Lucy Lou. The family would like to thank her amazing nurses, Angela and Randi at Amedysis Hospice for the amazing care they provided during her final days. Special thank you to Monica Monfette, Missy Mulkey, Cindy Coolidge, Lisa Baker, and Sally Gentry for staying with her so that she could stay comfortably in her home. Also, a special thank you to Paula Howard and Tiffany Harkins for helping care for her in her final weeks. We couldn’t have done this without all of you.
