Colby Delane Craighead's Obituary
Colby Delane Craighead, age 35, of Oxford, Alabama, passed away on October 26, 2025.
Colby’s life was marked by both struggle and strength. He faced many challenges in his battle with addiction, but those who loved him will remember his generous spirit, quick wit, and the deep love he carried for his family. Colby had a kind heart and a smile that could light up a room.
He is survived by his parents, Tina and Larry Hazle; his brother, Casey Lindley (Stephanie); his sister, Delana Edmonson (Colton); his sons, Sylas Jackson and Ledger Delane; his nieces, Krymson Lindley and Grace Lindley; his grandparents, Jack and Carol Lindley; his girlfriend, Jayla Blackburn; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members who loved him deeply.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Delane Craighead, and grandmothers, Ellen Record, Jan Craighead, and Joyce Vickers.
A funeral service will be held Friday, October 31, 2025, 6:00 p.m. at Betta View Church of Christ in Oxford with visitation to follow in the fellowship hall.
