Claude "Willie" Thornhill Jr's Obituary
Mr. Claude N. “Willie” Thornhill, Jr., passed away on July 3rd, 2023.
He was born on December 16th, 1955, and preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Jane Thornhill.
He is survived by his children, Brothers, James Calvert, Mike (Becky) Thornhill, and David Thornhill and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Etowah County. He is a graduate of Emma Sansom High School Class of 1974. He was considered the Midnight Mechanic/Mayor of Alabama Avenue, everyone always Yelled Willie or Honked at as they passed his house. He loved his family, friends, and his fur babies Cujo, Midnight and Brock and several cats.
The Family will receive friends Saturday July 15th, 10-11am at the Pow Wow Room, Noccalula Falls.
Burial at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Willie loved animals so please make a donation in his name to an animal rescue charity of your choice
