So saddened by this. I consider Chris a brother - we played in a band through most of the 80s, and had an absolute blast! So many memories from that, and through it all, we worked really hard to be as good as possible, but always did it with smiles and laughs. Through the years, Chris and I kept in close contact, and I already miss his texts and fb chats. RIP Chris - love you brother!
I could write a book of all the adventures Chris and I had, we played in several band, we were roommates, coworkers at Pizza Hut. Like a big brother he looked out for me, he taught me how to drive a stick shift, the importance of musical timing, and being responsible. He took me to my first and second rock concert, Aerosmith in 1978 and Van Halen in 1979! The second was life changing for us. He came to church with me in 1991 and accepted Jesus as his savior then played percussion at World Harvest Church. We always stayed in touch to share life stories and remember the good times we had. Rest in Heaven my brother until we meet again!
Chris was a great friend and an excellent drummer. He was way better than I was and taught me for years on how to get better. I had many great nights being his Roadie as his band played large venues. Our friendship started in second grade at Ashley school. It never stopped through almost 60 years. Chris will be missed by so many people !!
Was watching him play the drums when he was playing with Scott Martin and bo Martin.
