Christopher O'Neal Heit's Obituary
Christopher O’Neal Heit, Known to family and friends as Chris. Chris was born in Wichita, Kansas on April 10, 1987 to Marilyn Diane Heit and Neal Ellis Heit, but a longtime resident of Anniston Alabama. Chris a loving son, brother, husband, step-father and friend passed away on December 2, 2022 at age 35.
Chris was a free spirit and big hearted person. His greatest loves were his family and his beloved dog Frank. Laughter followed Chris there was always a multitude of story telling and good food. Chris will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. Always on our minds, Forever in our Hearts!
Chris is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Herman Atteberry Sr; maternal grandmother Maurine Elliott Atteberry both of Anniston; his uncles Kenneth Floyd Atteberry and Michael Wayne Hill, as well as his beloved pug Benjamin Frank.
Chris is survived by his mother Diane Heit and father Neal Heit; his older brother Chad (Stacy) Pearson and nephews Jackson and Tucker Pearson; his wife Felicia Maria Littlejohn Heit, step-children Brittany Connell, Alexandra Littlejohn, and Justin Littlejohn-Heath; his sister Lisa Johnson and family; sister Kristie Nachbor and family; his aunt Debbie Fields and family; his aunt Donna Atteberry Dowlen and family; and uncle H Floyd Atteberry Jr. and family.
As he wished Chris was cremated. The family will plan a memorial for immediate family and friends at a later date.
