Charles Edward Richards' Obituary
Charles Edward Richards, 82, died peacefully at his home in Pell City on December 9, 2025.
A native of Talladega, he graduated Talladega High School in 1961. He worked in the textile industry in Talladega and for 31 years in Hickory, North Carolina. His great loves in life was his faith in Christ, his family and serving in church. He was an avid Crimson Tide football fan.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Evelyn Richards and sister, Grace Kissic. He is survived by his wife of 63 Tears, Margaret (Vessie), sons Greg(Beth) and Chris(Kelly) as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family wishes to express appreciation to Compassus Home Health and Lakeside Hospice and Sarah and Billy Wilkinson for their assistance to Charles and the family.
A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
