Charles Boyd Dothard's Obituary
Charles Boyd Dothard passed away in his sleep sometime in the early hours of Wednesday, July 2, exactly 3 weeks after he was diagnosed with terminal cancer.
He was an over the road truck driver for fifty years plus, having driven for Boman Transportation, Leach Manufacturing (hauling dumpsters that was made at the company) for 30 of those years, then Hanna Steele, Gossett Pallet. Even in retirement he still drove dump trucks for nearby companies. He was a quiet humble person, yet strong values was always his way of life. Going to be missed by those that loved him for sure.
He leaves behind his wife Barbara Dothard and her children whom were so close to him. Susan Franklin (Jimmy) and her two children, Lexi Wise (Dakota) and Zachary Franklin (Racheal) Beverly Jones (Billy) and her two children Barbie Otto and Chrystal Anderson. Also Candace Dixon and 7 great grandchildren. His biological children Tommy Dothard (Cristy) of Guntersville and Tammy in England. Six grandchildren and six great grands.
At a later date there will be graveside rites in Nances Creek Cemetery next to his parents and brother.
