Carole Dean Nisbett's Obituary
Carole Dean Nisbett passed away at her home on on February 1, 2021, at the age of 80.
Carole was an Anniston native. She was retired from Stedham’s Jewelry of Anniston, Al.
Carole loved her children and children-in-law, always lending support & guidance for them.
She loved her grandchildren, always going above and beyond for them. From taking interest in
their art, writing and sports, to searching for every collectible beanie baby toy, to hosting
slumber parties and watching hundreds of hours of Star Wars movies. She never missed a
school extracurricular event. Carole made sure she was a foundational presence in their lives.
She was extraordinarily patient with people, even when they did not deserve it. She gave to
her children and grandchildren anything they ever asked for, without hesitation and in
abundance. She was incredibly generous to her family and opened her doors to everyone,
especially at her famous Christmas parties.
Parkinson’s and a rare throat cancer affected her mobility and communication the last few
years of her life, but despite her limitations, her gentle spirit never wavered. Her family is
eternally grateful for the ways she shaped and loved them. Carole will be forever missed, but
she lives on in the hearts of her family, in the lessons she taught them and in the memories
they will forever cherish.
Carole is survived by her husband, Jerry E. Nisbett, her son, Jeff Nisbett (Angela), her daughter
Gina Lumpkin, her beloved grandchildren, Lacee Nisbett Davis (Guy), Jacob Nisbett. Also, many
family and friends that will always remember her love and kindness to everyone.
A celebration of life is to be announced at a later date. Condolences may be sent to 4101

The family would like to thank Encompass Hospice, nurses, staff and Dr. Michael Hanna, for
their excellent care and support of the family.
