Bobbie A. Roberson's Obituary
Bobbie Roberson, 73, of Oxford, Alabama passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, June 15, 2024. She was a loving mother and grandmother, sister, and aunt.
She is survived by her loving husband Donald Joe Roberson, and their three daughters, Regina Champion, Bobbie Jo Roberson, and Zella Rose Roberson; their two sons, Donnie (Bubba) Champion, and Damon Micha Roberson. Her four siblings are also left to cherish her memory, Bernice Cofield, Beatrice McClenton, Becky Jennings, and Bonnie Payne. She also leaves behind thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Bobbie is preceded in death by her son, James David Trantham, her mother and father, Mary Isabell Golden and Edward Golden Jr.. Also her grandsons, Damon Champion and Holden Champion; and her sisters, Betty Warren and Brenda Kitchens.
She was a remarkable homemaker who loved her family and often took care of her aging and sick relatives. Her life was devoted to her large and growing family but she had a passion for embroidery and beautiful flowers. She loved to laugh and "cut up" with her family. She will be long missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
