Bertha Lee Dodson's Obituary
Bertha Lee Alewine Dodson, age 87 of Wedowee, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Alewine and Beatrice Smith Alewine; siblings, Wallace, Louise, Loraine and Janice; husband, Jerry Olin Buchanan; and a granddaughter. Bertha is survived by her daughters, Denisa, Dean, Ann and Tyran; 9 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and siblings, Gerylen, Patsy, Peggy, Carol and Michael.
She was an amazing, Godly woman and a great, faithful mother and grandmother. She was a seamstress at BBI for 27 years. She loved watching game shows, doing word puzzles and living life to the fullest. She loved church services and more importantly, her family.
