Barbara Lynn Conner Bussey's Obituary
Barbara Lynn Conner Bussey, age 67, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2025. She was born on January 19, 1958, and was a lifelong resident of Oxford, Alabama and attended Oxford High School.
Barbara will be remembered for her love of her family. She was the best wife, mother, Sister, Aunt, and most of all grandmother (Mamaw) anyone could ask for.
She loved watching wrestling with her son Alan. She enjoyed her trips to Tennessee to spend time with her lifelong friend Kristy. She loved going camping with her family. She loved the holidays to be able to spend time with all of her family. She has touched the lives of so many and will be deeply missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her parents Herbert and Lorene Conner, and her husband Rickey Bussey.
She is survived by her children Jennifer Turner (Brock), Allen Wesley (Jessica), Alan Bussey; her brothers Wayne Conner and David Conner (Joyce); her grandchildren Kimberly Glad (Elijah), Corey Brotherton, Christian Brotherton (Makenzi), Brodie Wesley, Patrick Wesley; her only great granddaughter Oakleigh Brotherton; several nieces and nephews.
A private cremation has been arranged through Cremation Services of East Alabama. A memorial service will be held at Calvary Temple Church in Anniston on Saturday, December 20th from 2 PM - 4 PM. The immediate family will have a private burial ceremony following the service.
