Barbara Anne Brasher's Obituary
Barbara Anne Brasher, 79, of Vincent, Alabama entered into Heaven on October 30, 2022. She
was surrounded by her family that she loved so dearly.
Barbara was born on December 5, 1942 to Floyd and Dorothy DeLoach in Birmingham,
Alabama. She married her husband, Martin Brasher on January 21, 1961 and they enjoyed 61
years of a loving and beautiful marriage. She was a wife, mother, “Memaw”, sister, aunt, cousin,
and friend to many throughout her life. She loved to her fullest capacity and she made sure all
who had the honor of knowing her, knew that they were cherished. She was most proud of her
children and grandchildren. She would have stayed with them forever if she could have.
Barbara was known for her fiery and sassy personality. She was honest, genuine, loyal, feisty,
caring, and loving. She enjoyed knitting, playing cards, dancing, shopping, watching her
grandchildren dance and play ball, going to the beauty shop, spending time with family, and
watching her “stories”. She hated rosemary.
She spent 26 years working for Weight Watchers and loved helping people reach their goals.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Dorothy Deloach; her brother, Ken
Deloach; and her son, Mark Brasher. She is survived by her husband, Martin Brasher; her
