Anna Sue Beeken Dempsey's Obituary
On July 5th 2021 at 6 am, Anna Sue Beeken Dempsey 64 of Oxford, AL went to be with her life long companion Perry Martin, her sister Mary Gourley, and her parents.
Anna was born in Sydney, Nebraska, but raised in Alabama. She attended Wellborn High School until grade 10. She was a tough, stubborn,
hard working women. She loved to fish and loved her family more than anything in the world. Everyone she met always became family. Everyone who knew her loved her.
She had two daughters: Amanda Harrison (Alex) and Amber Smith. She had six grandchildren: Jasmine Broski, Dakota Smith, Kristopher Dempsey, Dillon Smith, Michael Harrison, and Lucas Harrison. Her life long companion had three kids that she considered her own: Kassie Pinson (Michael), Keiton Martin (Kelly), and Lori Martin (Chris), and their kids as her grandchildren: Haley Martin, Jaydin Pinson, and Tyler Pinson. She was also survived by her niece Celeste Combs, and her nephew Ryan Gourley. She was also survived by several great nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Upon Anna’s request she wanted to be cremated.
The family is going to hold a memorial service for her on August 14th at 2pm at Pell City Civic Center 2801 Stemley Bridge Rd. Pell City,
Alabama 35128 Large Pavilion #2.
