Angel Leigh Kennedy Mikus, Age 41, of Ragland, AL had an appointment in heaven on February 26, 2022.
Angel was and had been a walking miracle from God! She was given a life expectance of 2 months when she was released from UAB in 2018, But God! gave her 4 years to watch here 2 children grow and become teenagers. Angel was born in Griffin, GA to Phillip and Cindy Kennedy on February 19, 1981. She was a loving mother to Jacob Kennedy age 15, and Jacie Kennedy age 13. Her 2 children were the main reason that her heartbeat lasted as God blessed us with 4 more year’s. She had made a reconnection with the Lord while attending Harvest Center Church in Pell City, AL under the leadership of Rev. Paul A. Lett and Pastor Paula Lett.
Angel is survived by 1 son Jacob Dylan Kennedy (son), 1 daughter Jacie Lenae Kennedy Washington (daughter), her mother Cindy Kennedy Clement, 2 sisters Jessica Kennedy and Shay Kennedy, 2 brothers Jeremy Phillip Kennedy & Phillip Silas Kennedy Jr.
She was preceded in death by her father Phillip Silas Kenned SR, brother Jason Hyrom Kennedy, grandfather Rev. A. J. Kennedy and Grandmother Gladys Shortnacy Kennedy.
Angel’s Celebration Of Life will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Coosa Valley Church of God Cemetery 970 River Rd, Cropwell, AL 35054 with a graveside service
