Andrew Reese Badgett's Obituary
Andrew Reese Badgett, 38, of Rainbow City, Alabama passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026, in Birmingham, Alabama. He was a devoted father, loving son, brother, nephew, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Andrew was born on February 23, 1987, to the late Kenneth Lewis Badgett and his mother Donna Badgett Nunnally. He was a lifelong resident of Alabama and graduated from the Saks High School here in Calhoun County.
Andrew is survived by his mother; Donna (Ben) Badgett Nunnally; his son; Greysyn Kenneth Badgett; Greysyn’s mother, Amber Clements; his grandmother, Mary Reese Dickert; sister Amber (Tyler) Nicole Law; Aunts and Uncles, Richard and Pamela Bishop, Annette Andrews, Vic and Lana Murphy. Nieces, Alexis and Lily Law; and many loving cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father; Kenneth Lewis Badgett; grandparents, Lewis and Audrey Badgett; his step grandmother Hazel Badgett; grandfather, Horace Reese; and step-grandfather Hogan Dickert.
Andrew was an avid outdoorsman, and a sports fan. He particularly loved Alabama football but watched many sports through the various seasons. He had many hobbies and talents but his love for his family surpassed all his other loves. His heart was bigger than most and he would do anything for anyone that needed it. He especially loved spending time and playing with his son Greysyn and loved him beyond words.
