My memories:
When Allen was 3, my dad would hide pennies in the dirt driveway at Nanny Arrington's house so he could dig up the buried treasure.
We used to go to the movies every Sunday when we were around 12 years old with Allen's mom and Nanny Arrington. We hid drinks and snacks in their giant purses too!
I remember that whole summer also playing Sega Genesis games every single day and waking up to pop tarts smothered in butter!
I also remember both of us being roofer's apprentices one summer and I learned what a sunburn feels like on your ears.
I remember when we got our own skates and roller blades and Allen somehow got enough speed on that giant hill in the neighborhood, flew over the main road in the air, and landed in the ditch on the other side. He was a tough cookie and came out without a scratch.
We'll all miss you and never forget you.
