"Alice Was always the apple of Daddy Pete's eye; she could never do anything wrong. Don't let anyone do her wrong or they would answer to Daddy Pete. I don't think he was too happy about her marrying a crazy young man in the Army. Alice and I had 5 dates before I shipped off to Basic Training, we were married during my Christmas leave. Then we were off to see the world, raising 4 boys, moving all the time, new places, new friends. She never complained. She was the most wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, loved by all. Alice never met a stranger. She would talk to anyone and made friends with everyone she met. She loved to work in the garden, canning soup, and making jams and jellies. You never knew what would come out of her mouth. Her family, friends, and friends who became family meant the entire world to her."
Following the Celebration friends and family are invited to the Bagley home for a chat and a snack. 348 Old Highway 9, Anniston, Al 36207.
