William Van (Bill) Stephens, age 70, died Sunday May 1, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Glenda Kirk Stephens of White Plains; his children Kimberly Ledbetter of Jacksonville, Stephanie Curvin (Craig) of White Plains, Jennifer Brown (David) of Lineville & Eric Stephens of Lincoln; his grandchildren, Kelsey Gibbins of Jacksonville, Garak Pepper of Jacksonville, Gage Curvin of White Plains, Tanner Curvin of White Plains; a brother, John “Jocko” Stephens of Weaver; a sister, Sharon Akins of Birmingham & numerous nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Leon & Kay Kojima Stephens and his grandson Thomas Albert “TC” Clifton III. The family of Bill Stephens will be accepting friends & family for visitation and remembrance on May 16, 2022 from 5-8pm at Cremation Services of East Alabama.
