Steve Johnson Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Memorial services for Mr. Steve Johnson, 62 of Piedmont, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2020, at Asberry Baptist Church, Jacksonville, AL, with Rev. William Cain officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Mr. Johnson passed away January 29, 2020. Mr. Johnson was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County. He retired after 40 years with the county as a licensed inspector. Mr. Johnson is preceded in death by his Father and Mother, Arvel and Gladys Johnson; two brothers, Bennie and Johnny Johnson; and two nephews, Tyler Johnson and Ethan Gladen. He is survived by one brother, Earl Johnson and wife Glenda; two sisters, Dianne Chaviers and husband Norman, and Debra Jo and husband Joe; sister-in-laws, Rosie and Charlotte Johnson; nephews, Eric, Chad, Regan, Jason, Patrick and Nathan; nieces, Cindy, Teresa, April, Amy and Sandy; 11 great nephews, 14 great nieces; and 1 great great nephew and 1 great great niece. Mr. Johnson will always be remembered by his contagious smile and laughter, his willingness to help others, and his mischieviousness and great love for his nieces and nephews. He will truly be missed.
