Nettie "Pearl" Brents

April 2, 1940 - January 30, 2021

Mrs. Nettie “Pearl” Brents (Raborn) died peacefully in Millbrook, AL on 30 January 2021 at the age of 80. Nettie is survived by her husband, Robert Brents and Smokey Brents; Henry Alan Croom, Charlotte Nolen, Gregory Scott McFarland; Sister Sarah Evelyn. She is preceded in death by daughter Phyllis Darlene Nease, her brothers and Sisters Ethel Leona, Albert Ray, John William, Dorthy Gladys, Alvin Eugene, Lamon Earl, Annie Jewel, Nellie Merle, Shirley Juanita. Nettie was born on 02 April 1940 in Greenville Al to Annie and John Raborn. She married Robert in 1971. After moving to Savannah GA, Nettie began working for Wal Mart, Kmart, and Dollar General. Over the period of 49 years, the couple welcomed 4 children into their home 12 grandkids Bobby, Lucy, Tabathia, John, Christopher, Shaun, Heath, Heather, Amber, Kaylyn, Clayton, and Annie Kate. She also had 17 Great Grandkids Kirt, Nathan, Jasmine, Foxx, Meaghan, River, Logan, Felicity, Peyton, Natalie, Addie, Kolton, Kynslee, Kayson, Chailey, Connor, Damien. She also had one Great Great- granddaughter Kylie Pearl. She was an active and dedicated member of the Tri city Baptist Church. A Celebration of Life is to be announced at a later date at Tri City Baptist Church in Millbrook, Al, with a reception to follow. Pastor Tom Woodfin will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Nettie’s life. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the family home.
