Janice Patterson

Janice Patterson passed away peacefully on June 8 , 2021 at Tanner Medical Center Carrollton GA. She was born September 30, 1962, in Carroll County. Most of Jan's life she cut hair , after her health no longer allowed her to cut hair , she loved socializing at the flea market. She loved making jelly and canning veggies. She is preceded in death by her Mother, and Father - Verdie and Lillian Patterson , and her infant daughter - Melinda Kristina Smith. She is survived by : One Brother - Tracy Patterson (Tammy) One niece - Laci Wilson (Lane) Two Nephews - Casey Patterson (Hannah), and Jay Patterson (Daylon) Two Great Nephews - Lane Daniel, and Layton Wilson Two Great Nieces - Lilly Benefield, and Kara Patterson Also, many loving cousins still survive her. Also , Jan had 3 people in her life very special to her . She thought of them as family Rusty "Santa Claus" Smith, Phillips Kiker and Susan Soi. She also had 2 special companions for many years, that she loved very much. Her 2 chihuahuas Nik -Nik, and Star The family would ask for any donations to be paid directly to East Alabama Cremation to help cover the cost of the arrangements made. We would also appreciate all the prayers you can give . A Graveside memorial service will be announced at a later date and time .
